Initial meeting & design brief
We begin with a conversation to understand your vision, lifestyle needs, budget and timeframe. You’ll share your must-haves (and nice-to-haves), inspiration, and any special requirements. We’ll guide you on what’s achievable for your block and provide a rough price indication so you can plan with confidence.
Concept design & floor plan development
Next, we turn your ideas into a concept plan and start shaping the layout. This stage focuses on flow, zoning, storage, natural light and functionality — so the home isn’t just beautiful, but practical for everyday living. See Vastu-Led Design, if you’d like to create a deeper sense of balance, flow and intention in your everyday living space. We refine the plan with your feedback until the key details are finalised, including the overall design style and feel.
Contract & planning/development approvals
Once your design is confirmed, we prepare your quote and contract with clear inclusions. We then manage the approval process by working with councils, private certifiers and relevant authorities to obtain planning/development approvals, keeping things moving so construction can start as smoothly as possible.
Selections & 3D design
This is where your home becomes truly yours. You’ll visit showrooms and suppliers to choose finishes and features — tiles, tapware, cabinetry, benchtops, flooring, colours, appliances and more — including upgrades and smart-home technology if desired. To make decisions easier, we can also provide a 3D design/visualisation based on your plan, so you can picture the space and feel confident in your selections.
Construction
Now your home begins to take shape on-site. Our team manages scheduling, trades and progress, with quality checks throughout the build. You’ll receive regular updates, and we stay available to answer questions and keep you informed at key milestones — so you always know what’s happening and what’s coming next.
Final walkthrough
As we reach practical completion, we do a final on-site walkthrough with you. We’ll review the finishes, confirm the home meets the expected standard, and go through any final items before handover.
Handover day
Handover is a major milestone — and we make it feel like one. You’ll receive your keys, a welcome pack with important documents, warranty information and helpful guides, plus a small welcome home gift from us.
Ongoing support
Our support continues after you move in. We provide 3 months complimentary maintenance to help with any settling items and ensure you feel fully supported in your new Divinity home.
Typical build timeframes
(from construction start):
Single storey: 6–7 months
Double storey: 11–12 months
